What is the policy if I need to cancel my booking?

We have different cancellation policies for summer and winter. More information on refunds and cancellation fees can be found on our terms and conditions page.

Does Tryall have a hurricane/natural disaster policy?

Our property’s natural disaster policy becomes effective when the Government of Jamaica issues an official warning. 

Is the Tryall Club Safe?

As a gated community, The Tryall Club has always been an extremely safe environment and this continues to be the case. 

Are there a medical facilities on the property?

We have partnered with Ambualert to ensure you have access to onsite healthcare services. 

What is the weather like in Jamaica?

Jamaica is blessed with warm, tropical climate year-round. Daytime temperatures range from 22°C – to 31°C (72° – 88°F).

What amount of alcohol are we allowed bringing into Jamaica with us?

All passengers 18 years and older are allowed to bring with them 2 litres of alcoholic beverages per person.

Are there child-sized clubs available at the Golf Shop?

Yes, we have child-sized golf clubs available in the Golf Shop.

How many villas are there at Tryall?

There are 74 private luxury villas at The Tryall Club Jamaica.

Who owns The Tryall Club villas?

All Tryall villas are independently owned.

Do I have to book a complete villa or can I book part of a villa?

No, our villas have different rental options, with the smallest being our one-bedroom condominiums. 

Can I have visitors in my villa during my stay at Tryall?

Any visitors are welcome to visit guests in our main lobby and restaurant areas. Please advise the front office so we may anticipate their arrival.

Would I be able to rent an entire villa for my family or friends?

Absolutely. Our Family & Friends Villas and Group Villas are ideal for families or groups looking for an ideal getaway that provides privacy and seclusion with luxurious living spaces.

Do all the villas have the same number of bedrooms?

No, our villas range from one-bedroom condominiums to 10-bedroom estate villas.

How would I traverse back and forth from the main area of the resort?

Most guests prefer to move around The Tryall Club using the golf carts or the property shuttle. 

I would like to rent an additional cart, what is the cost and can you book this for me?

To rent a cart, it costs US$59.80 per day with taxes and service charge. We also take US$20 cart key deposit which is held until the key is returned to us.

Are any of the villas located on the beach?

Yes, there are a few villas located on the beach. Please see the Tryall Villa Resort Map for details.

What amenities are included in my booking of a villa?

Our villas have different amenities. Please see the respective villa pages on the website. 

Would I be able to access Wi-Fi in my villa?

Yes, there is complimentary Wi-Fi in your villa and throughout the main areas of the resort.

Does each villa have its own staff?

Yes, each villa has its dedicated cook, housekeeper, and gardener. The larger estate villas will have additional staff. The staff in each villa are there to take care of our guests whilst staying at Tryall.

Can we visit other houses while we are here?

We do have villa tours on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 11:00a.m. We ask that you meet at the Bell Desk and the host will take you to see between 3 – 4 unoccupied villas. If you have a specific type of villa you would like to see, let us know and we will try to accommodate the tour provided the villa/s are not occupied.

To settle our final bill prior to checkout, may we use cash or do we have to settle with our credit card?

You have the choice of settling in cash or with credit card, the choice is yours. Just advise the agent of your preference when settling your account.

Is there an ATM on property where we can get U.S. cash?

There is not an ATM on property for guests use, but you have the option of doing a cash advance at the Front Office. It is a maximum of US$100 per person per day which attracts a 7.5% surcharge. This can be done by processing your credit card or by charging your incidental account.

Where can I get cash?

You can get cash at our Front Office at a maximum of US$100 per day per person and this attracts a 7.5% service charge. If the transaction is done in Jamaican currency the surcharge is 5%. This can be done by processing your credit card or by charging your incidental account.

Where is the nearest ATM that dispenses US currency?

The nearest ATM that gives US currency is at Megamart, Montego Bay which is 20 minutes from The Tryall Club. We can arrange from a driver to take you there. The transfer cost US$120 round trip for 1-4 persons.

There is also another ATM on the hip strip right next to entrance of Doctor’s Cave Beach in Montego Bay. That is a little further away from Megamart going in the direction of the airport. The transfer cost would be the same.

How do we handle the tipping payment for our villa staff?

You have the option of paying cash to the staff directly or placing the amount on your Front Office account. When charged to your account this attracts a 3.5% surcharge charge. 

Is it possible to have an extra bed in the room?

Yes, extra beds are provided based on availability.

Is the resort wheelchair accessible?

Yes. However, we recommend alerting us prior to arrival so our team can prepare for your arrival. Please contact agordon@tryallclub.com

Does Tryall offer unique amenities for special celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, and honeymoons?

For birthdays, anniversaries and honeymoons we can arrange personalized amenities including floral arrangements, private beach dinners, food and beverage amenities, room decorations, photoshoots, and more. For more information, please contact guestservices@tryallclub.com.

Is it possible to ship items purchased at Tryall internationally?

Our Concierge team can assist you with shipping items abroad using our preferred courier service at an additional cost. Restrictions may apply based on Customs regulations.

How do I arrange for nanny/babysitting services?

Please contact our dedicated concierge department at guestservices@tryallclub.com for details on our kids club and nanny services.

Is there a gym on property and what time does it open?

Yes, there is a gym on property located at the tennis shop. The opening hours are 7am to 7pm daily.

Can I make reservations to play with a Tennis Pro or reserve the tennis court to play?

To book our Tennis Courts or a lesson with our Tennis Pros, please contact our Tennis Shop at tennis@tryallclub.com.

Do you have Pickleball courts at Tryall

We have both Pickleball and Tennis Courts.

Can I play golf during my stay at a Tryall villa?

Yes, The Tryall Club has one of the finest 18-hole golf courses in Jamaica, designed and built by Ralph Plummer.

How may I arrange tee times?

To book tee times, please contact our Golf Shop at golf@tryallclub.com.

Is there a Spa on the property?

The resort offers a full-service spa. Please email spa@tryallclub.com to book your spa appointment.

How can I arrange private tours and excursions outside the resort?

To arrange private tours and trips to Montego Bay and the rest of Jamaica contact our Tour Desk at tryallclub@islandroutes.com.

What time is afternoon tea?

Afternoon tea is at The Great House every afternoon between the hours of 4pm – 5pm.

Is there a charge for Afternoon Tea?

Afternoon Tea is complimentary to all our guests.

How many restaurants are there at Tryall?

There are two restaurants at Tryall, The Great House Restaurant and The Beach Grill. Guests are also able to enjoy private dinners on the beach and in our Organic Garden.

What would be my options for breakfast if staying in a villa?

You have the luxury of having breakfast in your villa daily at the time specified by you. Breakfast is made to order and prepared by your dedicated villa cook. You may also order room service or dine in any of the restaurants.

Do you offer premium branded spirits?

Our Tryall cocktails are made with national and international premium branded spirits. We also offer a variety of specialty spirits, champagnes, and wines.

Would I be able to stay at Tryall if I am traveling with special dietary restrictions?

Our culinary team would be delighted to meet with you upon your request to review your dietary requirements and plan menu options that would be best suited for you during your stay.

Can you get married at Tryall?

Absolutely! The Tryall Club is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Montego Bay, or even Jamaica.

What if I need help planning my wedding at Tryall?
